Sterling Industries was a proud sponsor of the HardTech Pitch Gala for the second year in a row, closing ventureLab‘s two-day HardTech Summit in Markham, Canada. The evening showcased eight of Canada’s most promising hardware startups as they competed for top honors.

Congratulations to Kimia Analytics and Cattle Scan, who both secured cash prizes for their innovative solutions and persuasive pitches. Our CEO, David Van Slingerland, presented the Sterling Prize to Kimia Analytics, whose compact mass spectrometer is poised to impact multiple applications and sectors, including clinical diagnostics.

The pitch showdown highlighted the incredible depth of hardware innovation happening in Canada, with all finalists demonstrating impressive technological advances and market potential.
