Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for producing designs, test and design specifications and to test and document the electrical/electronic designs, following the Company’s ISO 13485:2016 Quality Management System.

Program Manager - Engineering

The Program Manager/Core Team Operations Representative is the primary Operations interface to the New Product Development Core team. This is a highly visible and impactful role in the operations networks and to the business. The PM will lead cross functional teams and is responsible for value stream selection, planning, execution, and implementation of new products.

Team Lead, Program Management

The Team Lead, Program Management will be responsible for overseeing multiple programs and leading individual projects ,Lead and mentor a team of program managers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible for daily coordination of inspection requirements, including accurate and effective documentation completion as required by the company quality management system.

CNC Operator

The CNC Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for assisting with the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes. Primarily accountable for inspecting machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools. In addition, determine and correct minor machine malfunctions working from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models.

Clean Room Operator

We are seeking experienced Clean Room Operators with experience in the medical device manufacturing industry (ISO13485). The Clean Room Operator ensures optimal use of company resources (people, materials, equipment) to produce products to specification, on time, and complete to meet or exceed the expectations of our customers while improving our people, processes, and equipment.

Co-op Programs

At Sterling, we believe in growing the next generation of medtech professionals, and mentoring those who are up-and-coming. Sterling Industries is working closely with colleges and universities — including York University, University of Guelph and Western Michigan University — to develop opportunities for students and graduates to grow their experience, their résumés and their knowledge. From machining to automation to engineering, Sterling is helping new professionals get real world experience.
